Flyover Honors Freedom Flyer Organizer
A photo from 2015 shows Lt. Col. Charles Huff during a Freedom Flyer Reunion at JBSA-Randolph. Huff died Dec. 5, 2018. The 560th Flying Training Squadron flew a missing man formation with three T-38C Talons over his interment ceremony at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In 1973, Huff was an original organizer for training Vietnam war Air Force pilots after they were released as POWs.
