Lieutenant Colonel Christopher M. Duffett is the Commander, 99th Flying Training Squadron, 12th Flying Training Wing, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. The 99th Flying Training Squadron conducts Pilot Instructor Training, Civilian Instructor Pilot Training, and Instructor Combat Systems Officer Training in the T-1A aircraft. The squadron operates 17 aircraft, flying more than 9,000 hours, training more than 100 instructor pilots and 26 instructor combat systems officers annually. The unit is comprised of more than 70 active duty, reservists, civilians and student trainees.
