Tuskegee

Dr. Granville Coggs, documented original Tuskegee Airman, blows out the candles on his 90th birthday cake during a celebration with the 99th Flying Training Squadron July 30 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. As well as serving as one of the Tuskegee Airmen, Coggs worked for 30 years as a diagnostic radiologist focusing on breast cancer detection. Coggs currently lives in San Antonio with his wife, Maud.
