JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Joint Base San Antonio has increased security measures, including 100% ID checks at all gates and suspension of the Trusted Traveler Program.
Drivers entering JBSA installations should expect potential delays and plan accordingly.
In addition to full identification checks, the base has suspended its Trusted Traveler program as part of heightened force protection activities. The program previously allowed certain vetted individuals to escort guests onto the installation without additional screening.
All personnel should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to their local Security Forces Squadron.
